Rolls-Royce Sees Strongest Sales in Its 117-year History

Rolls-Royce recorded the highest annual sales in the brand's 117-year history. The company delivered 5,586 vehicles to customers worldwide in 2021, an increase of 49 percent compared to the same period in 2020. This overall figure includes record sales in most regions such as Greater China, the Americas and Asia-Pacific, as well as multiple countries around the world. All Rolls-Royce models performed very strongly, while growth was mainly driven by Ghost, with demand surging further with the launch of the Black Badge Ghost in October 2021. This, in conjunction with Cullinan and the pinnacle of the brand, the Phantom, ensures a strong order book for the third quarter of 2022. Rolls-Royce is also releasing its first all-electric car, the Spectre, in 2021. The extraordinary task of bringing the Spectre to market by the fourth quarter of 2023 has now begun, while the most rigorous testing protocol ever designed for a Rolls-Royce is underway. Extending to all four corners of the world, the 2.5 million-kilometre journey will simulate over 400 years of Rolls-Royce use.
